Research & Development

As pioneers of digitalization, we at ControlExpert always search for possibilities to integrate the latest technologies into existing processes in order to simplify and accelerate them. That is why we have our own Research & Development department since 2015. Our team of 30 members has already been researching intensively about how, for example, on-board sensor technology can be used for car damage detection, localization, and calculation. Another example of research is how automated image recognition can help detect damage levels and spare parts. Our goal is to continue to improve our applications and products in order to provide you with the best results.

Officially Visionary

ControlExpert receives patent on car damage recording with images and artificial intelligence.

It's finally officially confirmed: our work is future-oriented! ControlExpert receives a patent in the area of automatic image recognition. This worldwide unique process enables a technology-based claims recording in the automotive sector with the help of images and artificial intelligence. The result: Faster Process, guaranteed quality.

Telematics – Claim information in seconds

Vision:

"In the event of an accident, the damage can be quantified before the car even comes to a standstill."

  • Data acquisition by sensors already present in the vehicle.
  • Reliable information on the circumstances of the accident and the extent of the damage.
  • Linking of data with CE database to create claims estimate.

Automated Image Recognition

"Facebook, Google, Apple – all of them are working on applications such as facial recognition. These same methods and algorithms are also used by ControlExpert on images of cars."

  • Inspection by auto mechanics is made plausible and easier.
  • Images can be assigned to damage zones automatically.
  • In the future, an automatic pre-check will be possible.
  • Faster and more efficient processes.
1

Determination of the expected repair costs

Chatbots & language assistants

“Chatbots or language assistants offer support in the first contact process with the injured person. The claims handler thus has more time for more complex customer requests."

  • Process acceleration.
  • 24 / 7 availability.
  • Increase in customer satisfaction.

We are successful with Chatbots!
