Your privacy is important to us. Therefore we at ControlExpert GmbH pay attention to compliance with data protection regulations. Below we would like to inform you about the purposes for which your data is collected and used and how you can exercise your rights. Our EDP systems are protected by technical and organisational measures against access, modification, or distribution of your data by unauthorised persons, as well as against loss and destruction.

We store your data for the fulfilment of contractual services such as delivery, payment processing, and invoicing. The contract with you is the legal basis for this processing (art. 6 para.1 b GDPR). We will also process your data to the extent required by law to fulfil our archiving and storage obligations under German commercial and tax law (art. 6 para. 1 c GDPR). In addition, we use your data for direct advertising - i.e. to send you information about our products, services, and campaigns (pursuant to art. 6 para. 1 f GDPR) in order to persuade you as a customer (information pursuant to art. 13 para. 1 d GDPR). You can object to the use of your data for advertising purposes at any time by using the above contact data. Further recipients of this data in the context of processing the order contract are logistics service providers (address data only), payment service providers (payment data only) or, in the context of direct advertising, also service providers for the dispatch of advertising materials (address data only). The duration of the processing depends on the purpose of the fulfilment of the contract and the associated further legal requirements for storage and provision of proof. We use the data for direct advertising as long as you have not objected.


ControlExpert GmbH automatically collects and stores information in its server log files that your browser transmits to us when you visit the website. These are:


  • Browsertype/-version
  • operating system used
  • referrer URL (the previously visited page)
  • host name of the accessing computer (IP address)
  • time of the server request

This data cannot be assigned to specific persons by ControlExpert GmbH. This data will not be merged with other data sources and will be deleted after a statistical evaluation.


This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses "cookies", which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyse how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

However, if IP anonymisation is activated on this website, Google will previously reduce your IP address within member states of the European Union or in other states that are party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and abridged there.

On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity, and to provide the website operator with other services relating to website and Internet use. The IP address transmitted by your browser in the context of Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data.

We would like to point out that the code "gat._anonymizeIp();" has been added to Google Analytics on this website to ensure anonymous collection of IP addresses ("IP masking"). 


On our website, we use session cookies to make it easier for you to use our website. These are small text files which are stored on your hard drive for the duration of your visit to our website and are deleted when you close your browser, depending on your browser settings. The storage of cookies can be switched off or deactivated in the settings of your browser. Session cookies are automatically deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies outlast the closing of the browser.


If you have any questions or requests, please do not hesitate to contact us. We process your data to answer your product or service enquiries (art.6 para.1 b, f GDPR). The communication of address and telecommunication data marked as mandatory is necessary in order to process and answer your request. The voluntary provision of further data makes it easier for us to process your request. We store the information from your inquiry after answering the inquiry basically for six years, if it concerns commercial or business letters (art. 257 para.4 Commercial Code, art. 6  para. 1 c GDPR). 


We use your data only for our own advertising purposes. We would like to inform you about new products, our services and interesting events. Therefore, we also use your data to recommend certain products, services, or events that may be of interest to you in addition to your purchases. The evaluation of the customer history and the dispatch of corresponding advertising by post or e-mail to existing customers is only carried out for products and services of ControlExpert GmbH in consideration of your legitimate interests. Sending by e-mail only takes place with your consent, which you can revoke at any time with effect for the future. Newsletters will only be sent to you on the basis of a separate consent. Within the statutory framework, your personal data may be disclosed to the following companies within the EU:


  • postal service providers, dispatch service providers, file/data carrier disposal
  • IT service providers for maintenance and software maintenance
  • Google Inc. (
  • softgarden e-recruiting GmbH (in the application process)


We store your data for as long as required for the respective purpose. Corresponding deletion concepts are available and are continuously adapted to the legal and necessary conditions. If there is a tax law retention period for certain data processed for the processing of sales contracts (voucher data), the storage period is 6 or 10 years. During this time the processing of the data is limited. The retention obligation begins at the end of the calendar year in which the offer was submitted or the contract fulfilled. 


Your rights as a party concerned are comprehensively guaranteed by ControlExpert GmbH.


You can object to the use of your data for advertising purposes without incurring any costs other than the transmission costs according to the basic rates. The aforementioned contacts are available for this purpose.


You can revoke your consent to the processing of personal data at any time with effect for the future. Please note, however, that it may be necessary to re-enter your data before contacting us again or making an enquiry.


You have the right to object at any time to the processing of your personal data on the basis of the following provisions for reasons arising from your particular situation:


  • the processing is to be carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority entrusted to the person responsible; or
  • the processing is necessary to safeguard the legitimate interests of the data processor or a third party, except where the interests or fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject requiring the protection of personal data prevail, in particular where the data subject is a child.

If you file an objection, we will no longer process your personal data in this case, unless we can prove compelling reasons worthy of protection for the processing, which outweigh your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves to assert, exercise or defend legal claims.


The following rights are available to you with regard to your stored personal data:

  • deletion or restriction of processing
  • opposition to processing
  • data transferability
  • right of appeal to supervisory authorities.


To exercise your rights, you can contact the Data Protection Officer (see above) or the body responsible (see above). We will process your enquiries immediately and free of charge in accordance with legal requirements and inform you of the measures we have taken.

Right. That is why our data protection officer always keeps data security at the highest level in accordance with all data protection requirements. Our customers' data is managed completely separately and is only available within a specific data set.
