ControlExpert Japan Co., Ltd.'s image recognition technology for vehicle body damage detection solution is now introduced as trial to KINTO Co., Ltd. "Vintage Club by KINTO".

Tokyo/Nagoya, July 4, 2022 | ControlExpert Japan Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, CEO: Shigenari Mochizuki) announced that KINTO Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture, President: Shinya Kodera) started to use a trial solution that uses image recognition technology to detect damage on the car body before and after renting a car in their old car community "Vintage Club by KINTO". 

When renting a vehicle at Vintage Club by KINTO, by taking a picture of the vehicle with a smartphone or tablet before and after rental, Control Expert's image recognition solution detects differences (damages) in the vehicle body before and after rental.

This is expected to improve the efficiency of damage confirmation and prevents that damages remain overseen.
