The ControlExpert team won the 3rd place in the hackathon "Hack {IT} Over" by Talanx Insurance Group. 120 coders, 30 hours of hacking at the highest level and 3 challenges on the topics of mobility, the working world of the future or speech recognition, were the focus of the event.

The ControlExpert team competed in the “Mobility” Challenge, working with a team of experts on a blockchain-based platform called “InsureMe” for individual insurance policies.
With the help of telematic data and artificial intelligence, the individual driving behaviour of insured persons is evaluated for the insurances. This way, risks can be better estimated. It is a win-win situation for both parties because the insured person benefits from a fair tariff, transparency and claims settlement in real time.
