EXPANSION OF THE MANAGEMENT

ControlExpert is paving the way further for global expansion. With Rüdiger Hackhausen, ControlExpert was able to win an experienced leader from the insurance industry for this purpose.

The 56-year-old brings with him more than 30 years of in-depth expertise in the insurance industry. His last station was Allianz Versicherungs-AG, where he was responsible for the strategic development of the department as head of the claims department for almost nine years until 2020. The digitalization of the claims process and the fight against insurance fraud were two important areas of activity. Other stations in his career were DA Direkt Versicherung and Deutsche Herold Allgemeine Versicherung, where he held management positions in each case. Prior to joining Allianz, Hackhausen served as a board member of Zurich Versicherung AG and ADAC Autoversicherung AG, where he was responsible for the claims and administration department.

At the end of 2020, Hackhausen took leave from Allianz to find distance from the industry during a self-imposed sabbatical and to open his mind to new professional challenges. ControlExpert took advantage of this phase to get in touch with him. Rüdiger Hackhausen comments: "After a long time in various corporations, my curiosity to discover the market from a different perspective grew during the discussions with ControlExpert.
